More Etching

left hard ground/ water bubbles on the plate

Intaglio

Here are some etchings. I'm fairly new with printing medium but etching/intaglio method is by far is my favorite of most print techniques.

I like to experiment with different methods of creating textures resulting from dipping metal plates in acid. The scratchy dark marks shown above is a result from applying future floor wax over the entire plate and letting it dry, which cracked and peeled off in some areas allowing the acid to penetrate through those open areas. The three figures may represent ambiguous morphed animal and human parts. This image only shows half of the whole piece.

This is the later stage of this plate. It shows the entire image of the work.
